Dressing

This dressing (or sometimes I call stuffing, but we have never actually stuffed a turkey with it!) gets a nice crisp top and sides which is my favorite part. Also a recipe that does not truly have measurements and is done by taste.

Sauerkraut Salad

I do NOT like sauerkraut, but maybe someone else would like to try out this recipe. It was part of my mother’s collection of recipes from my grandmothers, so am including it here.

Pasta e Fagioli Soup from Olive Garden

Hamburger Soup

This recipe is similar to the fiery hamburger soup.

Oven Caramel Popcorn

Popcorn is one of my favorite snacks, but this sweet version is a little too sweet for me.

Strawberry Cream Salad

This Jell-o salad needs frozen strawberries, bananas, crushed pineapple, and sour cream.

Snickerdoodles

These are one of my all time favorite cookies. Wish there was a more diabetic-friendly version.

Texas Brisket

Combine Worcestershire, liquid smoke, and spices to brush over brisket and leave overnight.

Oven Beef Stroganoff

This is not the typical recipe that we fix. This one can be done in the oven instead of the stovetop. It is an easier to make version.

Shepherd’s Pie

This is not a family traditional recipe, but it IS one of my personal favorites. We use Dylan’s mashed potatoes for the topping, but do add the parmesan cheese for that.
