I am not sure if this is really intended to be German Chocolate Cake, but the recipe says to “frost tops only” and does not specify what topping.

This is a layered casserole with bread on the bottom of the pan, and a combination of chicken, mayonnaise, celery, and onion poured over the first layer of bread, and then topped with another layer of bread. The dish is refrigerated overnight and then baked.

This is not the typical recipe that we fix. This one can be done in the oven instead of the stovetop. It is an easier to make version.
