This is a layered casserole with bread on the bottom of the pan, and a combination of chicken, mayonnaise, celery, and onion poured over the first layer of bread, and then topped with another layer of bread. The dish is refrigerated overnight and then baked.

This recipe can be used with any in-season vegetables, such as broccoli, zucchini, cauliflower squash, and carrots.
