Ingredients
- 1 Brie cheese
- 1 loaf French bread, baguette, sliced
- 3 tbsp Olive oil
- 1-2 tsp Garlic, minced
- 1 pinch Sea salt
- 1 pinch Cracked pepper
- 1 pinch Fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 pinch Fresh sage, chopped
- 1 pinch Fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 pinch Fresh basil, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 275° degrees
- Line a baking sheet with either either a silicon baking liner or parchment paper. Use a baking sheet with edges so the oil doesn't run off the side.
- Cut brie in half so you have two sections.
- Place both halves on a cookie sheet cheese side exposed. It is also suggested that you trim off the rind on the cheese.
- Slice french bread into thin slices and spread around the cookie sheet.
- Combine olive oil and garlic, and generously brush both bread and cheese with the mixture.
- Sprinkle with sea salt and pepper
- Finely chop all fresh herbs and sprinkle over cheese and bread
- Place in oven and cook for 15-20 or until bread starts to brown and cheese begins to bubble
- Transfer to a platter using a spatula and serve immediately
Notes
You can also use non-fresh/dried herbs as well.
