Ingredients
- 2 c brown sugar
- 3 tbsp flour, heaping
- 3 egg yolks
- 2 c milk
- lump of butter
- 2 prepared pie crusts
Instructions
- Set milk on stove to heat.
- Stir the flour and sugar together, moisten well with milk in water.
- Add the beaten yolks to the flour, sugar, and milk mixture.
- Add butter to the milk to melt.
- Add sugar and flour mixture to milk and stir until thick.
- Pour into pie tins.
- Spread the beaten egg whites with a little added sugar over the top and bake at 300 for about 25 min until brown.
