Ingredients
- 6 large sweet potatoes or yams, peeled, quartered
- 1/2-1 stick butter
- 1-2 cups brown sugar
- water
Instructions
- Peel and quarter the sweet potatoes.
- Boil potatoes until soft, but not mushy.
- Melt 1/2 stick of butter in skillet. Then add 1/2 cup brown sugar, and add in the sweet potatoes and a little bit of water.
- Simmer and stir potatoes, adding any additional butter or brown sugar as needed.
