Ingredients

  • ¾ c margarine or butter
  • c firmly packed brown sugar
  • pinch salt
  • 6 tbsp milk
  • 3 c sifted powdered sugar
  • ¾ tsp vanilla

Instructions

  • Melt margarine/butter in pan.
  • Stir in brown sugar.
  • Add milk, stirring constantly until the mixture comes to a boil.
  • Remove from heat and stir in powdered sugar gradually.
  • Add vanilla and mix well.
