Ingredients
- 1 c chicken broth
- 3 stalks diced celery
- ½ c chopped onion
- 3 c cubed chicken
- 4 oz can mushroom pieces
- 1 can cream of chicken soup, diluted with 1/2 c milk
- 1 c sour cream
- 1 c mayonnaise
- ½ tsp salt
- 4 oz pkg egg noodles
- 2-3 cups shredded sharp cheddar
- 1 can dried onion rings
Instructions
- Cook noodles and drain.
- Combine broth, celery, and onion in saucepan and cook until tender.
- Add chicken, mushrooms, soup mixture, sour cream, mayonnaise, and salt.
- Spread noodles in 13"x9" pan and pour the chicken mixture over noodles.
- Sprinkle with cheese and then dried onions.
- Bake at 375° for 30-35 minutes.
Notes
You can also use the cheddar flavor onion rings.
