Chicken Noodle Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 c chicken broth
  • 3 stalks diced celery
  • ½ c chopped onion
  • 3 c cubed chicken
  • 4 oz can mushroom pieces
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup, diluted with 1/2 c milk
  • 1 c sour cream
  • 1 c mayonnaise
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 4 oz pkg egg noodles
  • 2-3 cups shredded sharp cheddar
  • 1 can dried onion rings

Instructions

  • Cook noodles and drain.
  • Combine broth, celery, and onion in saucepan and cook until tender.
  • Add chicken, mushrooms, soup mixture, sour cream, mayonnaise, and salt.
  • Spread noodles in 13"x9" pan and pour the chicken mixture over noodles.
  • Sprinkle with cheese and then dried onions.
  • Bake at 375° for 30-35 minutes.

Notes

You can also use the cheddar flavor onion rings.
