Chocolate Caramel Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1 14 oz bag caramels
  • ? c evaporated milk
  • 1 pkg German chocolate cake mix
  • ¾ c melted butter
  • 1 6 oz pkg chocolate chips
  • 1 c chopped pecans

Instructions

  • Combine caramels and 1/3 c evaporated milk. Cover and melt. Keep warm.
  • Combine cake mix, butter, and evaporated milk. Beat 2 minutes.
  • Spread half of mixture in greased 9"x13" pan.
  • Bake at 350° for 15 min, then cool for 2 minutes.
  • Spread caramel mixture over cake, sprinkle with chocolate chips.
  • Stir ½ c nuts into batter and drop by spoonfuls over. Sprinkle remaining nuts.
  • Bake 18 minutes.
  • Cool and cut.
