Ingredients
- 1 14 oz bag caramels
- ? c evaporated milk
- 1 pkg German chocolate cake mix
- ¾ c melted butter
- 1 6 oz pkg chocolate chips
- 1 c chopped pecans
Instructions
- Combine caramels and 1/3 c evaporated milk. Cover and melt. Keep warm.
- Combine cake mix, butter, and evaporated milk. Beat 2 minutes.
- Spread half of mixture in greased 9"x13" pan.
- Bake at 350° for 15 min, then cool for 2 minutes.
- Spread caramel mixture over cake, sprinkle with chocolate chips.
- Stir ½ c nuts into batter and drop by spoonfuls over. Sprinkle remaining nuts.
- Bake 18 minutes.
- Cool and cut.
