Ingredients

  • 1 lb German sweet chocolate
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 3 tbsp powdered sugar
  • tsp vanilla
  • 6 well-beaten egg yolks
  • 6 stiffly beaten egg whites
  • 2 pkg lady fingers

Instructions

  • Melt chocolate and add water.
  • Add powdered sugar, vanilla, and egg yolks and mix well.
  • Fold and mix in the egg whites.
  • Line a loaf pan with wax paper. Lay one layer of lady fingers on the bottom of the pan.
  • Pour some of the mixture over the lady fingers. Repeat layers, ended with lady fingers on top.
  • Wrap in foil and freeze overnight.
  • Place on place and cover with stiff whipped cream.
