Ingredients
- 1 lb German sweet chocolate
- 3 tbsp water
- 3 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1½ tsp vanilla
- 6 well-beaten egg yolks
- 6 stiffly beaten egg whites
- 2 pkg lady fingers
Instructions
- Melt chocolate and add water.
- Add powdered sugar, vanilla, and egg yolks and mix well.
- Fold and mix in the egg whites.
- Line a loaf pan with wax paper. Lay one layer of lady fingers on the bottom of the pan.
- Pour some of the mixture over the lady fingers. Repeat layers, ended with lady fingers on top.
- Wrap in foil and freeze overnight.
- Place on place and cover with stiff whipped cream.
