Ingredients
- ¾ c sugar
- 4 tbsp flour
- 2 eggs, separated
- 2 c water or milk
- 2 tbsp cocoa, more if desired

- 1 pie crust
Instructions
- Mix sugar, flour, and salt. Stir in water slowly until all is dissolved to smooth.
- Add cocoa dissolved in milk.
- Cook until the mixture begins to thicken.
- Add egg yolks, beating them in.
- Remove from the head when thick and fold in already beaten egg whites or save for a meringue.
- Pour into pie crust.
