Ingredients
- 2 c water
- 4 tbsp flour
- 1 c sugar
- 2 eggs
- pinch of salt
- ½ tbsp butter
Instructions
- Put water on to boil.
- Mix in flour, sugar, and salt with ½ c cold water and lemon juice. Beat until smooth.
- Add egg yolks and stir slowly into the boiling water.
- Cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Have egg whites beaten stiff.
- Pour boiling mixture over egg whites and beat in OR save egg whites for a meringue.
