Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 c sugar
- 1 c brown sugar
- 1 c shortening
- 1 c peanut butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 c flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp shortening
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350º.
- Break eggs into bowl and beat with egg beater until fluffy and light. Then set bowl aside.
- In another bowl, put sugars and shortening and stir with wooden spoon until sugar is all blended with the shortening.
- Add peanut butter and mix it in.
- Add eggs and vanilla to bowl with peanut butter and mix well.
- Put flour, baking soda, and salt into sifter set on wax paper and sift them into bowl; mix all together.
- Put tsp of shortening on a small piece of wax paper and rub over cookie sheet.
- Now roll 1 tbsp of dough into a ball and place it on cookie sheet. Press it down and crisscross with a fork dipped into flour.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes.
