Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 c sugar
- 4 tbsp cold water
- 2 c flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
Instructions
- Separate the eggs and beat yolks until lemon color.
- Add sugar slowly and cold water.
- Sift dry ingredients, mixing well with egg yolk mixture, but not beating.
- Fold in slightly beaten egg whites. Spread very think on fairly large, greased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350° about 10 min.
- Turn out on damp cloth sprinkled with powdered sugar. Spread with jelly and roll up in cloth while still warm.
- You may have to trim off crisp edges in order to roll up the cake.
