Ingredients
- ½ c granulated sugar
- ½ c chopped nuts
- 1 tbsp melted butter or margarine
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1½ c packed brown sugar
- ½ c shortening
- 1 egg
- 2 c flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 c sour cream
- 1½ c rhubarb cut into 1/2" pieces
Instructions
- Topping: mix sugar, nuts, butter, and cinnamon till crumbly and set aside.
- Cream together brown sugar, shortening, and egg.
- Thoroughly stir together flour, soda, and salt; add to creamed sugar/shortening mixture and add sour cream.
- Stir in rhubarb and put into greased and floured 13 x 9 pan. Sprinkle with reserved topping.
- Bake at 350° for 45-50 minutes.
- Serve warm or cool.
