Ingredients
- 1 pkg dry yeast
- 1 c lukewarm water
- 2 c buttermilk
- ½ c sugar
- 4 tsp baking powder
- ½ c oil
- 1 tsp salt
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- 5 c flour
Instructions
- Dissolve 1 pkg dry yeast in 1 c lukewarm water. Add buttermilk, sugar, baking powder, oil, salt, and baking soda.
- Add 6 (or more) c flour, mix well.
- Cover and chill for at least 4 hours before using.
- Pinch off and bake on greased cookie sheet. No need to let rise.
- Bake at 375° for about 20 minutes.
