Ingredients
- 1 ½ c brown sugar
- 1 ½ c granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 1 cup water
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 2 cups pecan halves
Instructions
- Combine sugars, water, and vinegar.
- Cook to soft ball stage.
- Add butter, pecans, and red food coloring (if desired).
- Remove from heat and beat immediately until it starts to thicken and becomes cloudy. (Pralines should be granular so don’t cool syrup before beating).
- Quickly drop heaping Tbsp on waxed paper or foil.
