Sticky Icing, or 7 Minute Frosting
This white icing is known as "Sticky" Icing in our family, but others call it 7-Minute Frosting. We typically use it on chocolate cake, but it can be used for many different types of cakes.

Ingredients
- 1 c sugar
- ⅓ tsp cream of tartar
- ⅓ c water
- Optional: vanilla
Instructions
- Cook the ingredients to soft ball stage in a saucepan.
- Pour the hot ingredients into 2 beaten egg whites (stiff peaks) and beat until well blended.
