Lemon Meringue Pie

Instructions
Cook egg yolks, ½ c sugar, 3 tbsp lemon juice, and 2 tbsp grated rind in a sauce pan.
Pour into pie tin.
Beat egg whites, cream of tartar, 1 c sugar until stiff. Cover entire pie with meringue mixture, sealing to edges of pie shell.
Bake at 250° for 20 min, then 275° for 40 min.
