Lemon Pie

Ingredients

of salt

butter
Instructions
Put water on to boil.
Mix in flour, sugar, and salt with ½ c cold water and lemon juice. Beat until smooth.
Add egg yolks and stir slowly into the boiling water.
Cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Have egg whites beaten stiff.
Pour boiling mixture over egg whites and beat in OR save egg whites for a meringue.
