Ingredients
Cake

boiling water

dry quick oats

butter
creamed

brown sugar

baking soda

cinnamon
Topping
⅓
c
milk
¼
c
flour
½
c
brown sugar
½
tsp
vanilla

coconut
½
c
chopped nuts
Instructions
Pour 1 1/4 c boiling water over 1 c dry quick oats.
Let stand for 20 min.
Cream butter, brown sugar, and sugar.
Add eggs, flour, salt, vanilla, baking soda, and cinnamon.
Bake in 13" x 9" pan a 350° for approx. 30 min or until knife comes out clean.
Topping:
Mix and pour topping ingredients over cake and brown under broiler.
