Orange Salad

1lb 4oz can
crushed pineapple
drain and reserve juice
1
1lb 4oz can
apricots
drained and cut, reserve juice

3 oz pkg
orange gelatin
2

hot water
1
c
miniature marshmallows
5
tbsp
flour
½
c
sugar
1
egg
½
c
whipping cream
whipped
grated American cheese
Instructions
Combine apricots and pineapple.
Add 1 c of either the pineapple OR apricot juice from the can and stir well.
Add marshmallows and let set until firm.
In another bowl, combine 1 c of pineapple or apricot juice (or half and half), flour, and sugar.
Mix well and cook until thickened.
Remove from heat and beat in 1 egg; let cool.
Fold in whipped cream and spoon over salad.
Sprinkle with grated American cheese.
