plus 1 tbsp flour

rhubarb

colored candy sprinkles
or red food coloring
Topping
⅓

sugar

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°.
Cream shortening and sugar. Add salt and beat in egg.
Add baking soda & milk mixture with flour, alternating back and forth between the two.
Stir in candy sprinkles (or food coloring) and rhubarb.
Pour into 13"x9" metal cake pan.
Mix topping ingredients and sprinkle over cake batter.
Bake 45 minutes.
